The class schedules are as follows:
GENERAL SCHEDULEWeekend Classes:
Wednesday or Thursday then Friday and Monday: 6:00pm to 9:00pm
Saturday and Sunday: 8:00am to 4:00pm
Weekday Classes:
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday: 8:00am to 2:00pm Thursday and Friday: 8:00am to 1:00pm
We are again offering the Rider's Edge® Skilled Rider Course which is designed for those of you who already have your license but want to learn more skills riding your own bike.
Applications for either course are currently available at our reception desk. If you would prefer, we would be happy to mail, fax or email the applications. To register online Click here for the New Rider Courses and/or the Skilled Rider Courses.

Welcome to Rider’s Edge®
:the Harley-Davidson Academy of Motorcycling. Whether you're a two-wheeled
novice or a seasoned road veteran, we can help you take the ride of your
life. Here at Our facility in Mentor, we offer the best in motorcyle rider training. By combining the time-tested curriculum of the Motorcycle Safety Foundation®
with the passion of Harley-Davidson, the Rider's Edge® New Rider Course offers
hands-on instruction and real-road experience that can teach you the skills
you need to get the most out of riding. A proven blend of classroom instruction and range riding,
the Rider's Edge New Rider Course delivers the basics of motorcycle operation. You’ll learn from devoted instructors certified
by both the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) and Harley-Davidson to create
a relaxed, supportive environment that fosters camaraderie and confidence.
And after passing a written and riding skills evaluation, you'll receive
an MSF RiderCourseSM
Completion Card that will exempt you from the Ohio riding portion
of the motorcycle license test, as well as possibly qualify you for discounts
on insurance. But more than that, you'll begin a journey that lasts a lifetime.

To take the course, you will need:

To know how to ride a bicycle, |

A valid automobile driver's license with an MC endorsement and/or a learner's
permit, |
|
Jeans, sturdy over-the-ankle boots or shoes,
full-fingered motorcycle gloves, a heavy long-sleeved shirt
or jacket and protective eyewear, and |
|
A DOT approved helmet. |
|
|
You’ll be riding the 492cc Buell® Blast®,
a light easy to handle sportbike with a rider-friendly design that will have you feeling in control.
The New
Rider Course costs
$300.00 per person, which includes the use of a Buell® Blast®. A $100 nonrefundable deposit is due at the time of registration. The balance is due 14 days prior to the first day of class. |

The course is held over a five day period, Thursday thru Monday or Monday thru Friday. Riding sessions are taught on a controlled range at the dealership. Attendance of all classroom and range sessions are mandatory, so make sure the course fits into
your schedule.
